• What loneliness does to your brain

Long-term social isolation isn’t just emotionally painful — it physically changes your brain.

Neuroscientists have found that people who lack meaningful social contact show reduced cognitive abilities like memory, learning, and decision-making. Over time, this isolation raises the risk of dementia and other forms of cognitive decline.

Brain imaging studies reveal that loneliness can shrink gray and white matter in regions critical for thought and emotion — including the prefrontal cortex, hippocampus, and amygdala. These changes weaken emotional regulation and make the brain more reactive to stress, threats, and negative feelings.

Isolation doesn’t only alter brain structure — it affects brain chemistry too. It activates the stress response system, increasing inflammation and fueling anxiety and depression. Social cognition — the ability to interpret others’ emotions and connect empathetically — also begins to fade, making people feel even more cut off.

The good news: re-engaging socially can help reverse some of these effects. Genuine connection — whether through friendships, family, or community — is one of the most powerful ways to protect brain health, slow aging, and sustain emotional well-being throughout life.

  • Many years back,
I was an engineer who was supposed to get paid well and supervise poor workers.

But something was not right with this.
I hated how construction industry worked.

I left that work.....although that degree/work was the only hope I had with my very poor and struggling life.

After a while, I joined back the corporate as a support guy.
This job was terrible for the mental health, but it was the fastest way to get rid of negative karmas.

Also, it allowed me to help people.
That was a satisfactory thing about it.

    Down to 4 years,
That decision allowed me to help more than 5000 people in a way.

And this is one of the many many missions I have completed, only to be able to reach the shiva.

No matter, if it doesn't pay well, no matter if it's humiliating, no matter if the entire family, friends leave, no matter even if it lives with no money to visit my spiritual teacher once in 5 years,

I will do what I find right to do.

You can call me egoist, but I may have worked multiple lives to land up in the situation that allows such things.

Hence, the straightforward clarity on things.
    Which most people call arrogance.
    That's alright...

    We trust lord Mahakala.
He never fails to deliver at right time, place and circumstances.

  • You create the child you want.
If you want them to be kind, show kindness.
If you want them to be smart, teach them.
If you want them to be caring, care for them.
If you want them to be a good friend, show them how you are a good friend.
Everything you pour into them they will absorb.
Every kind word, every compliment, how you describe them; all becomes their inner voice.
How you view them is how they will view themselves.
And how you treat them, is how they will treat themselves.
They will grow into everything you plant into them.

  • Durga Puja is one of the most important festivals in India, especially celebrated with great joy in West Bengal and many other states. It honors Goddess Durga, who symbolizes power and the victory of good over evil. The festival usually takes place in the month of September or October and lasts for several days. Beautiful idols of Goddess Durga are placed in decorated pandals, where people gather to pray, sing, dance, and enjoy cultural programs. Families and friends wear new clothes, share special food, and celebrate together. On the last day, called Vijayadashami, the idols are immersed in rivers or seas, marking the end of the festival and spreading the message of peace, strength, and goodness.’ -Life Unfold

  • AI is not an enemy of humans; it is a tool created to help make life easier and better. Artificial Intelligence can do tasks faster, solve complex problems, and support humans in areas like medicine, education, transport, and communication. It cannot replace human feelings, creativity, or values, but it can work alongside people to improve their abilities. Like any technology, AI depends on how humans use it—if used wisely, it can bring great benefits to society. Instead of seeing AI as a threat, we should see it as a partner that can help build a smarter and more advanced future.’ -Life Unfold.
