The first day of the sadhana commences with the sacred practice of Yoga. The practice of Yoga purifies and prepares the physical body, making it a worthy vessel to receive the divine energies of sadhana. Following this, the practice of Pranayama—the conscious regulation of breath—helps to still the restless mind and stabilize the intellect.
