The International Kaulantak Siddha Vidya Peeth takes immense pride in announcing the successful completion of the two-day Garuda Kalpa Sadhana course. With deep reverence and joy, IKSVP extends heartfelt congratulations to all Bhairavas and Bhairavis who have been divinely blessed to receive yet another supreme and sacred Deeksha by the boundless grace of Mahasiddha Ishaputra. The first day of the sadhana commences with the sacred practice of Yoga. The practice of Yoga purifies and prepares the physical body, making it a worthy vessel to receive the divine energies of sadhana. Following this, the practice of Pranayama—the conscious regulation of breath—helps to still the restless mind and stabilize the intellect. Through this inner stillness, the seeker becomes more receptive to the subtle spiritual wisdom that is imparted, allowing the sacred knowledge to be absorbed not just intellectually, but at the level of the soul. After yoga the lectures of different Acharyas took place to develop the basic knowledge of Bhagwan Garuda and his sadhana. At night Mahasiddha Ishaputra blessed all with his divine presence and gave an introductory session about the importance of this sadhana and why Bhagwan Garuda and his sadhana is so coveted. On the second day after yoga session our traditional kaulachaar krama was performed. It is so done as to purify oneself to be able to recieve the divine blessings of the devi devatas. Thereafter, Mahasiddha Ishaputra once again graced the gathering with His divine presence. With profound compassion and spiritual authority, He imparted deeper layers of sacred knowledge regarding Bhagavān Garuda and the esoteric dimensions of His sadhana. Through His guidance, the aspirants were drawn closer to the mystical path of the Garuda Kalpa, embracing its sanctity with awakened reverence. As the sacred night began to unfold, the main Deeksha Vidhi—the divine initiation ceremony—was gracefully conducted at the lotus feet of Bhagavatī Yogamāyā Mā Kurukullā. It is believed that on this sacred day, Bhagwati Kurukulla, the Divine Goddess of enchantment, wisdom, and spiritual power, manifested Herself to bless the world. The day begins with ritual worship and offerings to Bhagwati Kurukulla, invoking Her grace and presence. Devotees perform special puja, mantra chanting, and meditation, honoring the Divine Feminine energy that sustains the Kaulantak tradition. Following the worship, the festival transforms into a grand celebration of art, knowledge, and spiritual prowess in the presence of Bhagwati Kurukulla, Kaulantak Nath, and the assembled Bhairavas and Bhairavis. Various traditional arts are showcased, including: Yuddha Vidya – ancient martial disciplines symbolizing inner strength and self-mastery, Shastrartha – philosophical debates that embody the pursuit of wisdom, Music and Dance – sacred expressions of devotion and mysticism unique to the Kaulantak tradition. This day holds immense spiritual importance for every disciple of the Peeth. It reminds the practitioners of their devotional bond with Bhagwati Kurukulla and the path of Kaulachara, blending knowledge, discipline, and divine grace. Last month, 'International Kaulantak Siddha Vidya Peeth' (IKSVP) organized its first camp under its own banner, the “Ugra Narsimha 2 Days Basic Course” on 26-27th January at Satara, Maharastra. Ugra Narsimha is one of the forms of Narsimha which is ferocious and full of wrath. Narsimha is also considered to be one of the avataras of lord Vishnu to kill the daitya Hiranyakashyapu. The course is all about the middle path approach to defeat all the evils inherent in our lives. It is also about pursuing the middle path to practice 'Siddha Dharma'. The first day is where 'His Holiness Mahasiddha Ishaputra' explains the theoretical part of the deity worship while the second day was all about the karmakand. Kaṅkāla Bhairava Tantra holds a very special place in Siddha Dharma, counted among its most profound and advanced of the sadhanas. Kankala Bhairava sadhana is one of the Five most advanced and highest level of sadhanas in Siddha Dharma. This is the most difficult sadhana to accomplish. No other sadhana more difficult than this exists in this universe. The Karmkand rituals of this sadhana is the most difficult among all the sadhanas in the Siddha Dharma. Kaṅkālā Bhairava is the skeletal manifestation of Swachchhand Bhairava Bhagwan Shiva, adorned with 108 skulls and bone ornaments. He embodies both the dissolution of the universe and the very principle that sustains all existence. In Siddha Dharma, he represents that absolute essence beyond which nothing remains. The symbolism of Kaṅkāla is profound. He teaches that the final destiny of both the individual soul and the cosmos is to be stripped bare of all coverings (āvaraṇas). Every layer—whether of body, mind, ego, or even the mighty play of Śakti Tattva—is dissolved. What remains is the naked, unadorned truth: the eternal foundation on which life, death, and the entire universe rests. To meditate upon Kaṅkālā Bhairava is to confront the deepest reality—that all forms, no matter how grand, eventually return to their essence.
