अप्सरा साधना 'अप्सरा' ये शब्द ही सौंदर्य और श्रृंगार से भरा है। साथ ही ये शब्द ललचाता है 'कामी और व्यसनियों' को भी। भारत में तो कोई ही होगा जो की ये ना जानता हो की अप्सरा क्या होती है। किन्तु शास्त्र कहते हैं की जिस प्रकार देव, दानव, मनुष्य, यक्ष, किन्नर आदि प्रजातियां ब्रह्माण्ड में उपस्थित हैं उसी भांति ही अप्सर और अप्सराएं भी एक वर्ग विशेष है। क्योंकि इनका वर्ग देवताओं के समतुल्य होता है इसी कारण तंत्र नें इन्हें साधने और इनकी उपासना करने का अधिकार साधक को प्रदान करते हुए कहा की सौंदर्य और सम्मोहन की अति का अनुभव साधक को अप्सरा व अप्सर साधना द्वारा करना चाहिए। अप्सराएं व अप्सर कितने हैं इसकी कोई ठीक-ठीक गणना उपलब्ध नहीं है। किसी ग्रन्थ में 64 तो किसी में 108 कही गई है। किन्तु 'कौलान्तक सिद्धों' व 'मृकुल सिद्धों' के अनुसार प्रमुख अप्सर व अप्सराओं की संख्या 152 बताई गई है। जिसकी सूची 'कौलान्तक पीठ' के पास उपलब्ध भी है। अप्सर व अप्सराओं में बहुत सी दिव्य शक्तियां होती हैं जिसे उन्होंने जन्मजात योग्यता को तपस्या द्वारा बढ़ा कर प्राप्त किया होता है। अप्सर व अप्सराओं का कार्य अति प्रमुख देवताओं सहित देवियों व त्रिदेवों की सेवा करना है। आम जानकारी के अनुसार अप्सराएं देवराज इंद्र के दरबार में रहती हैं व अपने गीत-नृत्य द्वारा देवताओं की सेवा करती हैं। किन्तु ये अपूर्ण सत्य है। प्रत्येक देवी-देवताओं के पास सेवा हेतु अप्सर व अप्सराएं होती हैं। भगवान सदाशिव महादेव की सेवा में अनेकों प्रकार की अप्सराएं व अप्सर निरंतर हैं। भगवान विष्णु की सेवा व भगवान ब्रह्मा जी की सेवा में भी बहुत सी अप्सराएं व अप्सर हैं। जो अप्सरा या अप्सर जिस इष्ट देवी-देवता की सेवा में होते हैं उनके गुण भी वैसे ही होते हैं। अप्सर व अप्सराओं में भी तीन प्रकार का सात्विक, राजसी व तामसिक गुण होता है। जब किसी तपस्वी का अखंड ब्रह्मचर्य या घोर तप सृष्टि को परेशान करने लगता है। स्वर्ग आदि लोक काम्पने लगते हैं तो इन्द्र किसी अप्सरा को तपस्वी पुरुष की तपस्या भंग करने को कहता है। ये वो परिस्थिति होती है जब किसी तपस्वी का किसी अप्सरा से आमना-सामना होता है। किन्तु इसके अतिरिक्त भी पुराणों व मौखिक गाथाओं से ये स्पष्ट होता है की कभी-कभी पृथ्वी पर किसी वीर अथवा तपस्वी, सुन्दर पुरुष को देख कर अप्सराओं का मन उन पर आ गया। ऐसी परिस्थिति में वो प्रेम के वशीभूत हो कर उस पुरुष के साथ लम्बे समय तक रही और फिर स्वर्ग वापिस लौट गयी। इस तरह से कथाओं और धर्म प्रसंगों में विविध प्रकार से अप्सराओं का वर्णन हुआ है। किन्तु तंत्र में बात थोड़ी हट कर होती है। तंत्र कहता है की अप्सरा भी देव कुल की ही हैं। उनका मंत्र व साधना द्वारा आवाहन किया जा सकता है। साधना व तप द्वारा किसी भी अप्सर या अप्सरा को प्रसन्न कर मनोवांछित वरदान पाया जा सकता है। तंत्र नें माता, बहन, प्रेमिका आदि के रूप में साधना कर किसी अप्सरा को सिद्ध करने का विधान बताया है। अप्सरा साधना क्यों की जाती है इसके बहुत से कारण है। स्त्रियां इस कारण अप्सरा साधना करती हैं क्योंकि ये कहा गया है की इससे स्त्रियों का सौंदर्य व आकर्षण किसी अप्सरा जैसा ही हो जाता है। साथ ही पुरुष अपने पौरुष के वर्धन हेतु व गोपनीय वर प्राप्ति हेतु अप्सरा साधना करते हैं। मनोवांछित प्रेमी-प्रेमिका की प्राप्ति भी अप्सरा साधना से होती है। लेकिन 'कौलान्तक सिद्धों' नें अप्सरा साधना करने का जो कारण बताया है वो है की अप्सरा साधना इस लिए आवश्यक है क्योंकि मनुष्य के जीवन में यदि विपरीत लिंगी का प्रेम ना हो तो वो अपूर्ण रहता है। अप्सरा साधना से जीवन में प्रेम का बसंत आता है। स्त्री को श्रेष्ठ पुरुष व पुरुष को श्रेष्ठ स्त्री की प्राप्ति होती है व जीवन अति आनंददायक हो जाता है। कभी-कभी अप्सरा स्वयं साधक के पास प्रकट हो कर उसे प्रेम प्रदान करती है ऐसा स्पष्ट शास्त्रीय उल्लेख है। जीवन को प्रेम, उत्साह, आह्लाद, मस्ती से भर देने की सबसे प्रबल साधना है अप्सरा साधना। जो पुरुष या स्त्री इस साधना से परिपूर्ण होते हैं उनका सम्मोहन व आकर्षण त्रिलोकी को मोहित करने वाला होता है। उनको कलाओं का ज्ञान सहज ही मिलने लगता है। यहाँ तक की अप्सर व अप्सराएं गुरु का भी आंशिक कार्य करते हैं व साधक को बताते हैं की क्या करना अच्छा है और क्या करना बुरा? भारत के तंत्र क्षेत्र में तो अप्सरा साधना विहीन साधक को अपूर्ण व हीन समझा जाता है। अप्सरा साधना से संपन्न को ही पूर्ण पुरुष के अलंकार से सुशोभित किया जाता है। हालांकि ये सब मान्यताएं भर हैं किन्तु काफी पूर्व काल से प्रचलित हैं। 'कौलान्तक सिद्धों' नें अनेक रूपों में अप्सरा को साध कर ज्ञान व भोग प्राप्त किया है। इसी कारण ये परम्परा 'कौलान्तक पीठ' में भी आज तक अबाध रूप से चल रही है।-कौलान्तक पीठ हिमालय #apsarasadhana #apsar #apsara #scrolllink
